The organizing committee for CVPR 2010 (IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition) has been selected and the official call for papers has been posted. The paper submission deadline is 5 PM PST Nov 19, 2009, and this year, there is no required deadline for abstract registration. CVPR 2010 will be held in San Francisco, California, June 13-18, 2010.

The paper submission deadline for the International Workshop on Internet Multimedia Mining (IMM 2009) has been extended to August 22, 2009. The workshop will be held in conjunction with the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining in Miami, Florida, on December 6, 2009.

The 3rd International Conference on Imaging for Crime Detection and Prevention (ICDP 2009) deadline for submissions has been extended to August 31, 2009.

The paper submission deadline for the Second International Workshop on Multimedia, Information Privacy and Intelligent Computing Systems (MPIS-2009) has been extended to July 27, 2009. More information is available at the MPIS-2009 website. The workshop will be held on December 10-12, 2009 at Jeju island, Korea in conjunction with the 2nd International Conference on Computer Science and its Applications (CSA 2009).

The 20th International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR 2010) to be held in Istanbul, Turkey August 23-26, 2010, is inviting proposals for contests. According to the ICPR2010 website, contest organizers will be responsible for contest setup, invitations to participate, and reporting of results. The deadline for submission is August 28, 2009.
