As 3D Image Analysis Scientist, you will be part of a team that will invent and develop software algorithms to automatically quantify and analyze 3D imagery. Specific applications are broad and include automatic quantification of diagnostic medical imagery (CT, MR, Tomosynthesis X-Ray, PET and Ultrasound), and biological imagery (microscopy). Other applications include industrial inspection of newly manufactured parts using Tomosynthesis X-Ray, CT, and Ultrasound. Other applications include multi-camera video applications, typically but not restricted to, the detection, tracking, and understanding of people. You will work on a team to invent computer vision and machine learning algorithms and develop prototype systems.

Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with a focus on Computer Vision or 3D Image Analysis

Hands-on experience in Computer Vision or 3D Image Analysis
Strong understanding of the image formation chain for medical imaging devices such as Ultrasound, MR, CT or for optical security camera systems.

Demonstrated ability to write C++ code both for quick demonstration of ideas and robust, efficient, scaled-up software systems.

Candidate must be willing to travel a minimum of 3 weeks per year.

Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY.
