Whether you are new or experienced, a researcher or a technologist, in academia, industry, or government, our aim is to make Computer Vision Central your destination for computer vision.

Already this site is drawing many visitors to its calls for papers, its conference announcements, its job listings, and its daily computer vision news summaries. Now, we are adding a new section that allows users to post links to papers -- and encourages members of the community to discuss them.

Computer Vision Central was created to fill a gap between the informal discussions of colleagues and the formal structure of peer-reviewed conferences and journals. The more that people in computer vision and its allied areas participate, the more valuable it will become to you. So if you like it, please invite your colleagues to join!
