Computer Vision Scientist in Washington, DC
ReallaeR, LLC is currently seeking a Computer Vision Scientist for a full-time research and development position at our client site at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will contribute to efforts to build person tracking systems for persistent surveillance; train statistical models for human behavior recognition; and develop algorithms for multi-modal pattern recognition. This position will allow the employee to engage with leaders across multiple government agencies, industry, and academia and to bring research algorithms to practical applications.
Required Skills:
• Demonstrated computer vision, video analytics or signal processing experience
• Experience using MATLAB, OpenCV or equivalent
• MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; BS with relevant experience
Desired qualifications:
• Expertise in tracking and human behavior recognition
• Familiarity with biometrics or the facial action coding system (FACS)
• Previous experience with image/signal/audio processing
• Previous experience with Support Vector Machines, Gabor features, and Sift features
The candidate must be able to obtain at minimum a Secret security clearance and be able to maintain access to the NRL worksite as a condition of employment.
