JOB: Internship at Huawei R&D office, Bridgewater, NJ, USA
The Multimedia Content Networking (MCN) R&D Group of Core-network Dept. at Huawei Technologies USA has one 4-months intern opening. We are specifically interested in motivated Ph.D. students in the areas of multimedia, computer vision, pattern recognition and machine learning.
The MCN group of Core-network department at Huawei Technologies USA is located at Bridgewater, NJ. It delivers media processing, media format, media security and media networking software applications for CDN and IPTV etc.
The internships provide valuable work experience to enhance your academic pursuits. As an intern, you will join MCN's team of scientists in solving exciting and challenging research problems with real-world multimedia applications. You will learn from the best while working in a fun and creative environment. The ideal candidate should major in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field. Prior experience with motion estimation, video registration, video insertion, video segmentation and video matting is a plus. Prior experience of Window/Linux GUI development with C/C++ is also a plus.
You will be expected to stay at our office during Aug. 23-Dec. 24, 2010. We provide competitive salaries and also strongly encourage all interns to publish. Only LOCAL candidates are considered.
