Maine bans use of photo enforcement cameras
Maine has enacted a law banning the use of red-light and speed cameras for traffic enforcement. A motivation for the law was the possibility that vehicle owners rather than drivers could be cited. The new law does not apply to the use of cameras that enforce highway toll payments.
