OCR, Machine Learning Senior Engineer, San Francisco Startup

TapMap Inc. an emerging retail metrics technology company, has an opening position in the area of OCR, Computer Vision and Machine Learning.

The candidate must be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, fast moving and entrepreneurial team.

We need your expertise in data acquisition from multiple printed sources.

Required: Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics,

Expert knowledge in at least three of the following fields: machine learning, object recognition, image processing, OCR

Prefer to have strong background in machine learning/mathematics.
Must be self-motivated and creative, with proven analytical skills, excellent research record, and ability to communicate effectively.

Outstanding programming skills using Matlab, C#/C++/C.
Must be great fun to be around and be able to have fun. Cyclists or adventure sports ability a plus!
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
