The company is looking for a junior R&D software engineer with image computing skills who will be based in Paris.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or similar discipline, and have experience in C++ software development.
Priority is given to candidates with strong programming skills, as well as experience in image computing, computer vision or related disciplines. The candidates should have a keen interest in medical image computing. Knowledge of cross-platform development and of ITK, boost, CMake, python and Matlab are considered to be assets.
Proficiency in either English or French and ability to read and write English are required.
Candidates with problem solving skills, the desire and ability to learn and apply new technologies, and predilection for team working will find a rewarding position at Mauna Kea Technologies.
Job Purpose
The hire will join Mauna Kea Technologies' software development and image computing team in building robust medical imaging software. This includes contributing to the development of the company's proprietary software products and tools as well as participating to more research-oriented projects.
