Seeking ML Algorithms Developers/ Engineers

Qylur Security Systems is an emerging growth company in the homeland security space, based in Palo Alto, CA.

We are developing and marketing the first automated, fused self service security checkpoints that provide the optimal balance between security and the strictest adherence to civil liberties, and convenience.

Our solutions are intended for high flow public venues such as stadiums, amusement parks, global sports events, rail stations, and aviation. Our systems will dramatically change the security paradigm to a friendly seamless respectful process. Our company is partnered across the value chain with development partners, national labs, and global leaders in security integration and IT.
At the heart of our automated fused systems lies its central nervous system which is based on our QyFuseTM algorithms.

We are currently expanding our Algorithm R&D team and seeking both junior and experienced Machine Learning Research and Development Algorithm Engineers to join our team.

Responsibilities will include conducting R&D, designing and implementing experiments in development environment, development of algorithms and components to existing algorithms, as well as working with our software team in transferring R&D algorithms to production code.

Requirements include:

For Sr. position: At least 5 years industry experience, PhD in either Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Mathematics or related field. Expert knowledge in machine learning especially supervised learning and classification, computer vision or algorithm design, and preferably sensor fusion. Strong record of technical contribution in refereed technical journals and major conferences in computer vision and or machine learning.

For Jr. position: Some experience and familiarity with computer vision or image processing and machine learning.
