Senior Computer Vision/Machine Learning Engineer at Immersive Labs
TECHSTARS start-up seeks a Senior Computer Vision/Machine Learning Expert to join their talented team.
Immersive Labs provides facial recognition technology, designed to adapt and optimize content based on actual viewership on digital signs for retailers and out-of –home advertisers. The technology is a combination of anonymous facial detection, sophisticated machine learning and strategies specified by the marketer. Immersive Labs is a FUNDED Techstars NY company and was selected as one of the Top 25 hottest start ups to watch in New York City by Business Insider. We are on the cusp of something that is world changing and have scheduled deployments nationwide. We are looking for someone to lead a team of talented engineers to bring the online experience to the offline world.

What you'll be doing:
Facial recognition technology
Perform large-scale data analysis and mathematical modeling
Work with machine learning techniques
Develop API for integration with third party software systems
Data set training and classifications
Experience:
Video/Image processing
Experience working with large data sets
Machine learning using Bayes model
Experience leading a team in product development, not just academic research
Leadership experience working with and/or building a team a huge plus
We prefer to hire people who have interests in the Computer Science field outside of their job duties, and actively work on their own projects and hobbies.
Skills:
Extensive programming experience in Open CV, C++, C and/or Python
Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in systems architecture, data structures, algorithms and software design.
Perform large-scale data analysis and mathematical modeling
