The Energy Dynamics Laboratory of Utah State University Research Foundation has two openings for Software Engineers (entry level through senior level).
Entry/Mid-level position available to develop software for computer vision applications. Minimum qualification required is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Essential requirements include the following: Experience in computer vision and machine learning algorithms, Proficiency in C/C++ programming, proficiency in using both Windows and Linux environments, Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ideal candidate is expected to also have some exposure to programming GPUs or DSPs or FPGAs, and some exposure to video compression algorithms. Some travel might be required.
Mid/Senior-level position available to develop software for computer vision applications. Minimum qualification required is a Bachelor’s degree, (Master's degree preferred) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Essential requirements include the following: At least 5 years experience in using/developing computer vision algorithms {image processing, statistical/syntactical pattern recognition and artificial intelligence}, high level of expertise in C/C++ programming, proficiency in using both Windows and Linux environments, Strong written and verbal communication skills, established track record of industrial grade software product delivery and documentation, must have programmed GPUs or DSPs,. Some travel might be required.
