Vision system learns from patterns of moving objects

Researchers at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology at Zurich (ETH Zurich) have developed a learning program that can analyze and learn from temporal and spatial patterns of moving objects. One of its application is in traffic monitoring. More information is availble in a web article.
